Spring Onion - "White Lisbon Winter Hardy"

A very hardy strain which is slow to form bulbs. Can be sown until September for use the following spring, but is also ideal for spring and summer sowings.

Sow March to August, or September to overwinter. Sow in a prepared seed bed. Sow thinly in rows 9in apart. Cover lightly with 1/2in of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.

No thinnning is needed if sown thinly. Keep mosit and weed free.

Harvest June to October or March to May if overwintered.
